Job Description
Wilderness School is seeking expressions of interest for casual Sports Coaches to join our incredible Sport & Recreation program.
Co-curricular sport is central to life at Wilderness, supporting our commitment to educating the whole person. Our program offers diverse competitive and recreational opportunities, fostering skill development, teamwork, resilience and a lifelong appreciation for health and wellbeing within an inclusive and supportive environment.
The Coach plays a vital role in delivering a high-quality sporting experience. Working closely with the Director of Sport & Recreation and Sport Coordinator, you will coach and develop our girls in a safe, engaging environment while promoting teamwork, discipline and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver structured training sessions
Develop technical skills and game understanding
Foster a positive, inclusive team culture
Support student wellbeing and safe participation
Maintain equipment and uphold professional standards
About You
Experience coaching school-aged students (preferred)
Strong sport-specific knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, organised and professional
Current Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)
Relevant coaching accreditation (desirable)
